High quality Korean grapes from Sangju city
Sangju is a mixed urban and rural city located in the northwest of Gyeongsangbukdo province, South Korea.
Sangju City has a total area twice the size of Seoul. There are forests with natural environments such as Cheonhwangbong peak, Munjangdae, Baekhwasan mountain, Gapjangsan mountain, Noeumsan mountain and Gyeonghwonsanseong fortress in the Sobaeksan mountain range.
The weather in Sangju approaches continental climate, so there is a clear temperature difference. The average annual temperature is about 12-13°C, with average temperatures in January - the coldest month and August - the warmest month, around -3°C and 26°C.
Famous agricultural products in Sangju include grapes and dried persimmons. These products are recognized as premium agricultural products in Korea thanks to their crunchiness and high sugar content. In particular, Sangju grapes are famous for their unique aroma and rich sweetness, and are exported to the world in high-end form under the K Grape brand.
